About time I made another post, so this time I picked up a nice old 2JZ GS300 cruiser
Interior is surprisingly clean and tidy and the engine and trans work nice and smooth.
It has done a tad over 100K miles and there are a couple of items that need tidying up
but overall it's a decent car. Ivory leather interior and 6-disc CD player in the glove box,
great color and comfortable, so good car for an old bloke who is over all the electronic
BS that makes modern cars such a pain in the a$$.

Fair amount of kerbing on the factory wheels, so looking to find a cleaner set. And
some oik broke the factory remote key, and tried to repair it with superglue. Made
a real mess and when the battery went flat it couldn't be opened. Kind of salvaged
it to the point that I could get it open, and with a fresh battery the lock and unlock
buttons still work. Will get a new key casing as a working remote beats having to
use a key in the lock every time.

Driver's door seal/trim needs replacing but is a discontinued item. So have sourced
a pretty grubby second hand one from a wrecker. Will give it a good clean when it
arrives, and even if it is a bit worn it will be way better than the beat up trim that
is on the car now. Telescoping aerial is a bit bent and doesn't retract fully, so I will
have to look at that, Other than that I have been using the car daily and haven't
found any major faults
