Hi im new to the site and and kinda new to toyotas. i picked up a 1977 toyota corona a few years back with the blown 20 r in it put a 22r in it and the main seal went so im done with those motors haha. I want to put something in it thats worth my while i was thinking 1jz or 2jz when i first bought it but then came to realize how crazy of a swap that is and how much time and money it would be. So im stuck on which motor i want. Please help me out, all information and suggestions are appreciated thanks.

What is your budget? What are your fab skills?
What are your performance goals?
I assume the new 22R is also carb?
