I have a 1980 Te72 5 speed coupe and the tranny went out and i was wondering if the t50 from an ae86 would work?? or if i need anything else to make sure they mate? any help would work thanks.

the trans will work just put your bell from your old trans onto the new trans and it should work. you might have to reuse your shifter but im not sure also you might have to swap the tail section but again im not too sure just compare them when you have them next to each other
