Hi guys my first post after website/forum has been transferred here.
Guys today went to by new discs EBC which my original diameter disc is 258mm and height measurement is 47.5mm. The new EBC discs comes in as 258mm diameter and 49mm height. Does that 1.5mm is going to make any difference on offsetting the pads? How come everywhere I search they mention EBC GD882. Please help

Need help to Upgrade Discs on AE92 Levin
Re: Need help to Upgrade Discs on AE92 Levin
your pads will sit in the same place. i would be more worried about the rotor scraping the inside of your caliper. check to see if you can measure the caliper to rotor clearance. if it measures more then .75 mm then they will fit. I am willing to bet that they will fit since .75mm isnt very much
Re: Need help to Upgrade Discs on AE92 Levin
0.75 from both sides as clearance. I dont know why mine is 47.5 and everyone mention the EBC GD883 which in this case the height of the discis GD883 is 49mm. When you say scratching the inside of the disc, you mean the flat surface at the back of the disc?
Re: Need help to Upgrade Discs on AE92 Levin
i mean the very outer edge of the rotor. as in if you put the rotor on the ground in a way that it would roll. the edge that touches the ground

The outer edge of the disc is exactly the same size as my original. I dont wish that I spend 170 euro and the disc will not match my caliper because of something small. In this example the height.
