This started in another thread talking about what transmissions various Quaife Diffs were compatible with.
I am trying to gather as much info as possible because Quaife seems to be about as clear on the subject as I am.
So the first question. Do all trans in the same series share the same diff?
That would make things much simpler. So for example do all C series, C50, C52, C56, C160 etc all share the same diff?
Same for E series and other series?
If they don't all share the same diff I would love it if people could post any cross compatibilities they know of.
This also includes different series cross compatibility.
From a couple threads it seems as if some if not all C series and S series use the same diff.

Re: FWD diff cross compatibility
All gearboxes of the same series schare the same general internal dimentions and parts can be swapped.
So yes, all C-series gearboxes share the same dimensions for the diff and they can be exchanged from on C-series gearbox to another.
How Do I know? I worked on several C-series tranny's and placed a Quaife ATB LSD in my C52.
I am yet to open up my E58 tranny, but same thing goes for the E-series tranny's. A friend of mine swapped (newer and improved) parts from what I believe was a E153 out of a Camry into his E58.
