Half prepped for fuel cell conversion just cut out the wheel well and rust doesnt look like it effects structural integrity, killer deals even if you invest in rebuilding the engine. Glws man.

Re: Front wheel bearings, brake lines and caliper questions

Not sure about complete kits I've only pieced orders. Its a simple fairly simple task, pack bearings w fresh grease and take time with preload if you are unfamiliar with the process. Dont put the nut/washer/cotter pin to tight that it creates too much friction/resistance, if you hear grinding loosen...

4ac Electric Fuel Pump Input/Install

After some mechanical/electric fuel pump debate I picked up a Napa EFP for my sr5/4ac I will be installing this weekend. Reasoning: mfp's busted diaphram has allowed gas into the crankcase. I'd like to eliminate this potential. I plan to cap off and bypass the mechanical fuel pump untiill I make a b...

Re: Fueling problem?

Aside from whats been mentioned check fuel rail and injectors.
Sounds like a leak, drawing air in or loosing gas pressure, you dont want that point to completely give of course.
If you can have a mechanic diagnose it, easy for them to put on a lift find n tell you location for you to fix. GL!

Re: 4age Flywheel Alignment-HELP Needed

Not a 100% on the 4a c/ge but some njuns it matters. I had nothing to go on so wanted to be sure. Dealership mechanic said to set the three grooves on backside to tdc. This aligns the thru holes to each side roughly. If you hold the flywheel in place and spin it you can feel a slight weight transiti...

Re: Blue Top Head Removal

Look up order of head stud removal it's very important. Keep studs in order of removal, egg carton works great. Label cam end and DSide Pside. *In 3 loosening stages: 1st step-Break loose each bolt in order, as you do re(finger)tighten. Prevents over loosening. 2nd step-ln order, loosen up to 1/4 tu...

Re: Hey guys need help how to diy external fuel pump.

I just inquired about one at knekts, i'm not getting fuel to filter on my sr5. Car has sat for 5+ years and diaphram in pump may be shot. Pump can mount just before mechanical fuel pump, pressure moves fuel through pumps lines. Some I was told remove the fp and cover hole and run straight to carb. I...

Thanks gagoosh. I haven't efficiently looked into it, rwd vs fwd pump/efan-cooling and force tolerance on rwd n such.
