Re: VA: East coast 1986 AE86 hatchback for sale
Would you be interested in a trade for my 2006 STI? Bone stock except for a Go Fast BOV. Never raced or smoked in. Obviously it would be your car plus cash but let me know if you're interested. If not, if you still have it when my Sub sells we may talk  GLWS Regardless! I just replied to y...

If you're ever interested in trading for an SW20 Turbo (see here http://club4ag.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=9332) Let me know! LoL Interesting car. The color isn't my thing, but I can appreciate the work you've put into it. Glad she hasn't changed much. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xAxh1t...

Hey those pictures look familiar (my old garage)! I hope that exhaust worked out for you. You ever get that car you bought running?

Nice work  I also like how even though you have a garage, you're building stuff all over house. Shows you are the master of your domain. This is how it's done boys. I reused the ones from my old door panels. Not quite from scratch, I guess.

When the car is running (which is only sometimes!) it sees street duty, the occasional show, and some ham-fisted (amateur hour) summit point action.

Hey everybody, getting ready to buy a new set of headers and I have some questions. First off, since I have a LHD ae86 is it true that I cant buy parts from japan meant for a RHD 86? Secondly if that is true what are the best options that I have? I am willing to spend money for a quality product. I...

Re: Headers for a daily driver AE86?
Yea I was reading the reviews on the OBX headers, and most of them are not good. I just want a bolt on part without having to get out a hammer. I've had both OBX's currently available and they've both been complete and utter sh*t. The "Tri-Y" looks cool but doesn't fit together let alone ...

DIY: Poor man's door panels (made from scratch)
Club4AG, After almost 30 years of abuse, a lot of our cars have tired looking door panels. The ones in my car were stained, half clipped, dilapidated pieces of **** with a couple pro-status speaker holes cut in them. Instead of paying a lot of cash for a clean set of original GTS black panels for a ...

I'm interested in the center console (assuming it's just the rubber that's coming apart like they all do) and maybe the A/C control dash trim. I'm in northern VA about 2 hours north of you. Seems a shame to ship, any chance you'd be in NoVA any time soon? Maybe meet in F-burg? Otherwise I won't be d...

Re: 20V with Powersteering?
I believe the 16v power steering pump works just fine with any 20v. I just finished converting my 20v swapped car to manual steering and the pump appeared to be 16v (PO did the swap). You may need to steal the crank pulley off your 16v?? I'm sure someone else will chime in with the absolute truth, b...

I got it all worked out and the car is back on the ground. A liberal application of the torch was the key resetting of the intermediate shaft. The solution: AE86 power steering column + AE86 manual rack + AE86 manual u-joint + mk3 supra intermediate shaft (sticking out exactly 6.25 inches from the e...

That makes a lot of sense. Unfortunately we hammered the ever living sh*t out of the supra shaft thinking all-the-way-in was correct. I'm not sure if it'll come out, but I'll try!
Thanks!

Manual steering conversion problem
Club4ag, I'm about to dump my 86 hatch into a river if I can't get the steering figured out. :x My power steering rack was leaking and the inner tie rods were so shot they couldn't even align the car. I bought a re-manufactured manual rack, a series of u-joints, a mk3 supra shaft and slapped it in. ...

WTB: Manual steering u-joint (from manual MR2/tercel)
I'm looking for a steering rack u-joint (connects the intermediate shaft to the steering rack) for my power->manual ae86 rack conversion. I've got a mk3 supra intermediate shaft already, but the tercel joints I picked up turned out to be from power steering models. :( Anyone have a manual steering M...

WTB: Firewall/Dash plug (the black one)
I'm in need of the FEMALE side of the big black firewall/dash plug from an AE86. The previous owner that swapped my car went so far as to pull out a couple of the wires on the female side of the plug, so now I have no reverse light wires. I've got fresh wiring all the way down to the new reverse swi...

If you don't mind shipping (to 20171) and that center console is clean, I'm interested. I don't need the shifter surround, but the radio and e-brake pieces definitely. Bonus points if you have the mounting bracket for under the rear e-brake/compartment section.

I'm looking for a clean, black rear center console that goes around the e-brake (with the "armrest"/compartment). Bonus points if you have the mounting bracket that goes under it. Let me know if you have one and you're okay with shipping.

The mounting bracket for the actual e-brake lever? Nope sorry. I'm more interested in the bracket to bolt the console to the car. In the pic below, I'd need part # 58997 (5899712050). I'm interested in the wiper arms. Are they in reasonable shape? My current ones are rusty and the threaded holes are destroyed.
