Re: FS: 4AGZE rods, COP conversion, CXRacing T25/28 turbo ma

You're totally right man, my bad. I couldn't find a box to fit the downpipe and manifold, I'm going to try to sell it locally. If it doesn't sell in the next 2 weeks, I'll go on a serious hunt for a box lol.

Re: AW11 Manual Rack VS ae86 Manual rack SLOPPY FEEL

The 86 rack is more like a metal sleeve insert, whereas the AW11 is a plastic bushing that clips into place. They are not interchangeable. Here is the 86 manual rack: https://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfp1/t1.0-9/10443414_770869816281248_6912810752207936097_n.jpg and here is the AW11 rack: htt...

Re: AW11 Manual Rack VS ae86 Manual rack SLOPPY FEEL

there is a difference between the AE86 and AW11 manual rack and pinion assemblies. it's the bushing that holds the rack in place. The AW11 is a plastic bushing, whereas the AE86 is a metal sleeve/bushing.

AW11 Manual Rack VS ae86 Manual rack SLOPPY FEEL

So, I thought I had an aw11 manual steering rack in my AE86. The rack itself is loose, so I looked up on the interwebs on how to rebuild the rack. I came across this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5A3ri-vU1U4 Well, if you jump ahead to about 5:30, he is talking about replacing a plastic bushi...

I like having multiple videos bookmarked to motivate me to work on/drive my AE86. I just discovered there isn't an actual thread on Club4AG for awesome videos. It's an older manifold. I'm honestly unsure on brand, but will was pretty sure it was a cx racing.

Re: SQ Engineering Oil pump pressure kit install?

I know. It makes it so the relief valve opens up at a higher pressure, resulting in a higher max pressure (nothing for low end). My oil pump maxes out at 50psi, which could be due to loose tolerances, but it's pretty standard at idle, which leads me to believe that it is a worn out relief spring. It...

SQ Engineering Oil pump pressure kit install?

So I just ordered the SQ Engineering pressure kit from Battle Garage, and I was wondering if anybody has installed one of these before? I'm hoping I don't have to remove my oil pump to do it (I literally just put this car back together and discovered I needed more oil pressure). Thanks!

Extending Stock Control Arms Discussion

I've seen a lot of S chassis guys extend their stock LCAs, usually between 25 and 30 mm. I want to discuss the added benefits of extended LCAs as well at the negative effects. Extending your control arms gives you more clearance from the frame rail and inner fender at full lock. It also gives you mo...
