Re: 1985 SR5 3TC Forged

It depends on what you are capable of doing and how much you want to spend. From some of the searching I have done and chatted with a couple of 3tc guys, that is capable on a stock motor with boost. Not sure how long it would last but its definately capable. A guy I chat with in Iowa nows a dude wit...

Nice man, I have that ASD hydy brake in my favorites. That'll be a summer time purchase or maybe sooner.
Where are you mounting it? I'm trying to figure that out now.

Well, here it is. I need to take some better pics, hah. Once I get my header, I'll spend a day installing both and making my mid pipe from my header to the flex pipe. Thankfully they installed a v-band so this install will be easy. http://i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy321/992dr/AEExhaust_zpsde07fd84...

Nice, I'm going to give that putty knife a try. I started peeling some of it up when I was fixing my floor. You're lucky, scoring that GTS rear. I'm in the process of getting some material to build a jig to swap an 8.8 in mine. A buddy let me borrow his GTS rear to make the jig and I scored an 8.8 f...

Well, I broke down and ordered my first option. I like the design, how it comes in sections, is over the axle and is all 304SS. Also how it has v-band and flex pipe. I have a maggy hf cat that I'll be adding into one of the section, when I lay it out I'll make up my mind where it will go. When I get...

Its safe as long as a qualified welder does it. The only complaint I have heard from others is the squealing of the tires when you take tight tur...

I wish I could find a spare block around here.

Staggered, regardless of your power I think a staggered set-up would be more beneficial in the handling department. But then again, these cars are so light I'm sure it doesnt really matter.
