Re: Curtis' 87 Resto Mod... BEAMS update 8/30

Re: Specific Driveshaft Question Auto vs Manual

per Jondee86
GTS driveshaft + GTS rear axle = good
GTS driveshaft + SR5 rear axle = bad (driveshaft too short)
SR5 driveshaft + SR5 rear axle = good
SR5 driveshaft + GTS rear axle = bad (driveshaft too long)

Re: Specific Driveshaft Question Auto vs Manual

The SR5 shaft is longer than the GTS shaft. So by theory you could just shorten it. here is a Thread from the archives that may help.

Re: Curtis' 87 Resto Mod... BEAMS

Long time no update. I've been busy with work, and moved to NC. Nevertheless i've been making some progress on the car, Enjoy: Had these headers custom made. I think he did a great job getting around the steering column. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/981/40802454135_4876c623fe_z.jpg https://farm1.s...

Re: Curtis' 87 Resto Mod... BEAMS

Alright gents, I had the exedy kit ordered from techniclutch and it was pure garbage... pressure plate seemed fine, but the flywheel was horrendous. There are definitely mixed reviews on this clutch however, it's mainly bad. I ordered an orc 309 clutch kit for a little more than the previous kit and...
