after small adjustments here and there to the idle screw, was able to get it to idle. i guess i wasnt being patient enough when messing with it.

That kit is a good start for a pretty good price. You may want to look into upgrading the swaybars and 4link as well.

Get a TRD Header, and do some head work. Maybe switch to a HiComp head. Throw an exhaust on it, and some suspension. You wont be asking for more power after that. If the vins are JT2ae88 it was a GTS, JT2ae86 it was an sr5, if its JT2ae85 it was a DX.

If it a ae86 VIN and it has a drum rear, chances are it has never been swapped. Take some pcis
