Re: Corolla AE88/86 Black Limited
"Panda" and the kind of "Black Limited" you're proposing aren't builds: they're paint jobs. In the case of panda paint, it can be pulled off tastefully, but most of the time people half-ass it and it ends up looking terrible. (For example: rattle-can white exterior with a red eng...

Re: OBX Limited Slip Differential (Kouki)
If it's like anything else OBX makes, it wont fit. Just buy a used OEM and shim it up a little. Church. The only thing I've ever ordered from them was the cheapo 16v header. Nearly broke my EGR piping trying to get it to line up with the hole they welded in crooked. Was close to bolting back on my ...

OBX Limited Slip Differential (Kouki)
So, I stumbled across this on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/OBX-Limited-Diffe ... s=ae86+lsd
OBX makes LSDs for Corollas now? Has anyone been brave enough to install one of these yet? $350 is quite tempting.

Re: Wheel spacer or adapter torque spec/experiences
I don't have spacers, but since I chucked my ugly 0-offset chrome wheels for Celica alloys I've been researching them. From what I've read it really depends on materials, make, and the type of spacer you have. Are the spacers from a reputable brand like Ichiba (better), or did you buy the cheapest s...

Re: SR5 To GT-S advice?
Personally, I think you'll get more satisfaction (and time with a running car) working with what you've got rather than dealing with the headache of a GTSR5 conversion. For example: engine-wise, upgrade those carbs for now while you rebuild a 16v head, swap your nice carbs to that (to avoid the wiri...

Re: cxracing high rise headers - EBay
Cusco engine mounts + stock high comp + OBX's cheapest header I bought the header because I had a cracked manifold and didn't want to go through the headache of bolting the OEM manifold braces back to the block. One bolt of my (power) steering column universal joint rubbed one of the pipes when turn...

No, the crappy chrome wheels were 19.5. The Celica / Supras are 14.5
I weighed the old wheels after mounting the new ones. (After taking the tires off.)

Re: HELP! keys wont turn at all!
Easy answer could be that your key is worn too much to work. My original key is so dulled that it's mostly brass that is visible: not the plating. It doesn't work to open my hatch anymore. If you have a spare, have you tried it?

Re: running too rich. Failed smog. now im gross. please he
Other clues: my car has a very rough idle. Super high at first turning on. And after warmed up it fluctuates when not in gear. From 1k to about 600 back and forth. Like mini revs. My booster may also be sucking. It leaks brake fluid where it meets with the master cylinder (which is new) and when I ...

Re: I heard you guys like Supra wheels
Apparently, these rims also came on 3rd-generation Celicas. +27 offset like the OEM Snowflakes, so not the sexiest setup. A set of spacers may be in my near future. I also came across these: http://www.aeu86.org/download/ae86/id/5356.jpg They appear visually similar, but they don't seem to have a hu...

Re: FS: BOSS Steering Hub 65 mm for AE86
Excellent hub for my dished steering wheel; not sure if it's long enough for a non-dish wheel. If your horn button is a 2-prong type, you will likely need to modify the adapter plate with a ground prong. (I just bent a piece of metal and wedged it in place.)

Re: I heard you guys like Supra wheels
It's worth it just to have clean wheels. Like buying a $20 pair of Chuck Taylors after 10 years of wearing worn-out Reeboks while you save up for Air Jordans.

I'm looking for a left (drivers-side LHD) or set of left and right in-channel (snap-in) window visors. No need to be OEM metal; I'm not made of money. I'll take plastic, fiberglass, anything.
