Re: 86FEST is for AE86 and All Classic Toyota too!!
I used to build BMW 2002s and I never saw anyone complain about the new 1-series getting all the love at Bimmerfest or any other meets. Why do AE86 owners even care? It's business.. there just isn't the same demand for aftermarket support.

Re: 86FEST is for AE86 and All Classic Toyota too!!
I had fun and got my money's worth. Will definitely be at the next one if time allows, well, as long as I get to ogle at Maya Michelle Rew again. haha. I can't comment on the FRS/86 because it really doesn't affect my good times in my AE86. I do wish the course workers woulda picked up cones faster...

Re: New ROTA Wheels - "DORI DORI"
Lots of JDM wheels are copies of wheels you've never heard of. Don't shun Rota because they are copies, shun them because they're low quality for your application. For the street, I think everyone can admit, Rota satisfies a big money market that everyone wishes they had a piece of. I can't wipe my ...

I've never seen this part up close before. Is there a plate or bracket that's needed to mount some aftermarket speakers?

quicktip: apply masking tape to the length of your arm and remove. glass particles will come out of your skin with the tape. repeat as needed

Re: STAR smog laws in CA?
I really have to consider my options here in the next year or so. Probably best to get a carb legal engine swap done. Thought about an s2k or usdm 2jzgte with all emission hardware. Hate the thought of removing the 4age in there now... :( I just bought a 20V-swapped car before knowing about these n...

Oil filter relocation kit?
Is there a cheap kit to help me mount my filter elsewhere? I've seen some inexpensive Mr. Gasket-looking ones.. wondering if anyone has a go-to, non-JDM kit that they use. The threads are pretty common right? like this one: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v11/double02/IMG_20130105_134923_499copy_z...

Re: front brake noise
are you covering the back of the pads in anti-squeal and are all the pad spring-clips present and in good condition? If so, try bedding the pads. That usually quiets them quite a bit along with alot of other benefits. Google "brake bedding procedure"
