Nah, the site I don't think even has UK cars lol.
I'll get a VIN check here soon, I'm having issues with Paypal right now over a ridiculous buyer, but once it clears up I definitely want to see ol' girl's history. I'm sure it's something else.

Re: CloudStrife's AE88
So a little update. Car is now at a full service shop getting an alignment, then figuring out a starting issue I was having (I gave up on it, just got burned out). The rear is all aligned. Brakes and clutch have been flushed. Not sure If I mentioned it, but I put a new Aisin clutch master, slave, an...

Re: rear tire skipping under hard braking
I had an issue with the rear skipping under braking in my race car, KE70 so similar setup to AE86. Found the problem a few days later when pulling apart that the top shock mounts were loose, (cant remember why now, but they had been out and put back in by someone else) The harder you braked the wor...

Re: She won't start (fuel related)
Does the FX-16 have a resistor pack for the injectors? If they do, there will be a finned silver square resistor box with Toyo water-proof plug (yellow/green). People commonly forget to hook this back up.

Re: She won't start (fuel related)
If you have the FSM, they're are a bunch of flow-charts and diag practices for the Injectors. Measure resistance, engage the injectors and make sure they pulse, etc. etc.

I always figured if you could source those Bi-metallic switch valves, they'd be REAL fun to properly torque on lol. Probably would have to use crow's feet torque extensions.

Re: rear tire skipping under hard braking
Lol, you should get them. And brake drag is a pretty common problem as most people either: A., change rotors, pads, and fluid but never rebuild the actual piston cylinder parts (which are getting 30+ years old now). Or B., Purchase re-man calipers from a site that has poor quality control (Rockauto,...

Yes, 100% watch those vacuum nipples! Actually, in the pic, it's broken lol.
I'd trade mine too, but I'm finally close to driving mine. Sorry man.
You could always have someone weld two bends on the EGR pipe..
I'll buy it off ya if you find one though.

USDM outlets have a 90 degree bend for the pipe flange. Yours looks like it goes straight up, so not what you need.

God, living in cali must be so annoying lol. In Oregon, DEQ would have no idea.
That doesn't look right. I'll look at my pics of before EGR delete.
By the way, isn't rollaclub an Aussie site? To my knowledge, ADM didn't get EGR like Japan and NZ.

Re: toyota turbo engines that fit in ae86?
I just don't like big turbos, maybe a small, quick spooling boost on the 4AG, it just would seem strange to me. 1/2Js are awesome, but pig slow unless it's in a light chassis, and it's twin sequential. Single big turbo is not my thing, but I know 90% of FD and MKIV Supra guys love it. I've never rid...
