Gearing spacing is better 1-4, 5th is a taller overdrive. It's way stronger for 20lbs more weight and best of all it shifts much better. You can run a 4.77 and have the same freeway rpms. So I weighed the w58 and t50 side by side last night.... this is with the bellhousing, TOB, clutch fork, and gear box, dry...as in no transmission oil. W58 - 84 lbs T50 - 65 lbs So yes there is a weight addition when switching to the w58, but personally I think 19lbs is negligible when you consider ...

Works for - a 200mm flywheel, OEM size flywheel for early 4AGE, AE86 with 16v large port, mr2 n/a with 16v large port

Not sure about the 8v 4AC....

Will not work for - red top/small port, silver top 20v, blacktop 20v, 4AGZE supercharged. The OEM flywheel for those are larger than 200mm.
