Smallport Fuel Rail & Inlet Manifold

Hi guys, I refurbished my smallport inlet manifold but have since converted to 4AGZE, so this is no longer required. It comes bare, no throttle body, nothing. £85 delivered in the UK £85 + Postage outside of UK http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i200/superredmr2/My%20New%20Toy/739F59D6-8F79-4ACD-9859...

Re: WTB - 4AGZE cams

Actually the red top cams are slightly longer with a slightly higher lift. I thought 4AGZE shared their cams with the 4AGE red top- obviously wrong. Sorry about that. By the way I've recently sent some Valve Springs to USA and it only cost $39... Edit- the 1989 MR2 camshafts share the same part numb...

Re: 4AGZE conversion

the injectors are now firing as there was a loose pin on the ecu plug.

so i've got spark and fuel, but it won't fully turn on. It just cranks and cranks.

timing was checked and was all fine. no idea now

I have all the correct electricals i.e. ECU etc. I have fuel in my rail and pressure, but the injectors will not fire. My car is now at my mates house 50 miles away so I cannot physic...

Re: 4AGZE Conversion

Hi Guys,

Many thanks for the replies.

Jon, that's what I was thinking! I'm going to stick with the standard camshafts for the time being. I'm going to be running a bigger pulley so I do not want to complete things by throwing in some cams that the ECU may have issues running.

Re: 4AGZE Conversion

I believe my engine is coming with an uprated pulley, 176/180mm and I will be designing/installation air feed for the IC heatsoak issues i'll probably face. That's about it really.

4AGZE Conversion

Hi all,

I am in the process of purchasing a complete 4AGZE engine complete with loom, ECU, etc

Just wondering about camshafts...would I benefit from some HKS 264 cams or stick with stock?

Many thanks in advance

FS Small Port 4AGE Parts

It comes with great regret that I am selling these parts that I went to great lengths to get a hold of, but I am in the process of buying a 4AGZE clip which is something I've longed for, for ages now and the opportunity has arisen to get my hands on one. I was in the stages of rebuilding a 4AGE smal...

Re: Fubar Toda Cams

Thanks Jondee86 and Sgt, will do.

I cannot feel any of the marks with my fingernail. I will measure the cams to make sure they are all the same diameter.

However, would you feel comfortable using these in a freshly built engine?

Fubar Toda Cams

Hi, Unfortunately it seems that I have purchased some Toda cams on eBay which have heat damage. They had surface rust which I got off, but then left these marks. The cam seal end looks fucked but there is no cuts into the material. It's all smooth. See pictures below. http://i72.photobucket.com/albu...

Re: Smallport Head

Hi,

Sorry yes you are right, for some reason I was thinking the head had a mount on it but they bracket bolts to the block.

I'll not worry about the additional holes in the head, as this is going in my AW11 and I will not have anything for this.

Thanks for the reply :)

What do you mean by 'get rid of as much stuff as possible'?

Are you continuing with the build?

You can't really get rid of any wires in the harness as they are all needed.

The link AE86Kai has listed is great and should sort you right out.

Yes it is a big-port sorry. My current engine is the same.

http://club4ag.com/faq_and_tech_pages/P ... 04A-GE.htm

3rd paragraph does say AE92 came with TVIS - I stand corrected.

Sounds like a dizzy or injector issue.
