Re: Question on Digital Gauge Cluster (sensors)

the oil pressure sensor is just a dummy light style, on/off. most 90s toyotas will have them, including the 20v's. The coolant sensor, I forget what I sourced for my friend, ill look into that...i believe its the same as the oil, on/off, no actual gage reading?

Re: Need tire size help...

I hade 15x8.0 +0 years back, with 195/50R15s. It rubbed slightly up front, the front bumper corner wears out quickly where it bolts to the fender. 205s will be way too wide. The rear arch lip is folded up and it touched the tire occasionally.

A bolt goes through the backside of the fender (circled in your pic) to the bracket on the bumper. Kouki & zenki are different. i have a zenki trueno template if it helps

Re: Does anyone have a step by step guide to remove / install dash?

DID YOU GET IT OUT ALREADY?

The tips I can give are: theres a bolt behind the far left pass vent, pull cluster and push bezel out from backside, theres one behind the clock bezel. All speaker panels, glove box, and center console stuff need to come out to get to all the bolts as well.

The TEs will fit best with 195/50 all around. the rear arch lips will need to be folded up however.

ae inner & outer, just keep in mind that one side of the aw11 rack is shorter than the ae rack, so check left to right stops and center from there.

Re: body harness, donor vehicle, and advice.

Message me an email address to send it to.

In terms of timeframe, really depends on the state of each car and how quickly you can get all the parts out. If just the body harness, it wouldnt take more than a day if youre familiar with removing all the interior parts.

Re: body harness, donor vehicle, and advice.

Take the interior stuff out; seats, carpet, etc (which will probably be happening regardless). Unplug each connector and take a piece of masking tape and write down where it goes, and wrap it around the wires at the connector. If youre good at reading electrical diagrams, I can send you the full ele...

Re: COP

I've had nothing but issues with the COP conversion. With the wasted spark, they overheat and bog out between 5-6000rpm, pending ambient temps, etc. There's only a few coils that have been proven to work in the wasted spark configuration. your best bet is Honda D17 coils, 3 wires, super easy to hook...

Re: Diagnostic Codes from Silvertop Light Under Dash?

This is a swapped FX16? Does the cluster have a CEL/Engine light? I would trace the light to see what its connected to, since the wire harness doesn't have a separate light for the CEL, it gets connected to the cluster light. If your car was carb'ed before, then that makes sense as to why there's a ...
