I take it you didn't read my full post.
Also, one of the main reasons you got let off so easily was because this was your first one. I blew a .19 on my first one and all I got was a $900 fine and 90-day suspension.
You might wanna grow up a little bit.

Did ^that^ guy just compare a Corolla to a Boss or Shelby Mustang? Most jaded Corolla owner I've ever met. IT'S STILL A COROLLA DUDE! STOP WATCHING INITIAL-D! You may now come back to planet Earth.

Low oil has nothing to do with why an engine won't start unless you already seized the motor up.
Clearly you're just taking shots in the dark here. I think it's time you refer to a professional.

Put them back in? As in - these are the locks that came from your car? Or are you trying to use new locks or ones from a different car?

Re: Best way to get out of a DUI (I'm not condoning DUI)
You got out of the DUI because you blew .06 at the station. If it still said .08, you'd be getting a DUI regardless - they just don't let drunk people go because they were nice and cooperative. Ask for your lawyer before you do anything that may be incriminating. Simply "driving erratically&quo...

Re: Custom shocks and struts
Since all you can do is post a facepalm picture like this is 4chan, I'm gonna have to assume you've already spent $1,000 on your stock suspension instead of getting some proper * adjustable adapters in the first place. And now that you've made that mistake - you've realized you still don't have a de...

I'm not sure why head-bolts would have anything to do with this but it sounds like you have some plug wires crossed.

$500 is too much and won't be worth it when a couple hundred extra bucks can get you a coil-over setup that includes springs. I mean really, think about it, $500 and I still have to spend $200 on springs or I could get this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/83-87-Corolla-AE86-Damper-Coilover-Kit-w-Pillow-Bal...

So much to learn with a DSLR plus they're heavy, bulky and expensive. DSLR's are for people that find a great shot everywhere they go and feel the need to go home and get their camera to capture it. If you just want a "nice" camera so you came gets some decent shots at a show, you don't ne...

Re: Old sr5 and gts stickers
You need a decal eraser. It's basically a rubber wheel on an arbor that goes in a drill and it melts away the decal. Google "3M stripe-off wheel." Don't forget that the paint underneath is going to look like like the day the car was painted while the rest looks faded and beat to heck. What...

The dealer prolly installed that. "Back in the day" things like pin-striping were dealer add-ons and cost extra. Passenger side view mirrors even used to be an option on lots of cars back then.

Re: Fitment Question: Backspacing
I like ^that^ chart, it's the only one I've seen that compensates for the thickness of the lip on the wheel. It needs to be factored in when going from back-spacing to offset. A 10" wheel with 5" back-spacing isn't actually a 0 offset wheel, there's like 1/2" extra there. 12mm seems a...

Re: Transmission tunnel template?
Unless you're trying to build a concours-winning show car, just notch the tunnel where the shifter comes through. Unlike the automatic car, nothing bolts to the tunnel so you don't need it there. If you're running no interior - the entire cut-out can be covered up if you also get your hands on the r...

I'd keep going with the twin-cam conversion if I were you. The only way to get any real performance out of the single-cam is with boost and if you don't have the patience or money for a twin-cam swap, you're definitely not gonna have it for a turbo.

Re: Lug nut question
The proper term for mag style lugnuts is shoulder lug nuts and I'm almost positive that's the style you need on tetas. It's very easy to tell, just look at the seat. Is it flat or is it countersunk? If you've been running acorn style lugs on it, the hole may be damaged and appear to have a countersi...

I'm a machinist and when we get military contracts, they're the most wide-open toleranced items we make. Military standards are very poor and it's why I always laugh when people love to use the term "military grade" or my favorite "aircraft aluminum." If you want to see real stuf...

The "official" rule is that you don't use solder when there can be any vibration present, because solder itself creates a hard point on the stranded wires, and then the vibration moves the hard point, work hardens the copper strands, and they break apart. So the solder WILL create a new f...

Caster. Castor is a type of oil. If you're looking for your car to handle a specific way, you need to adjust it and then go drive it around and see if it suits your driving style. Just because you read somewhere that some guy runs +2.5degrees of caster doesn't mean it's going to make you a better dr...

Setting pre-load is only necessary for rubber bushings because they are glued in place. Once you go urethane, they spin freely and it doesn't matter.
