Re: Smallport help
Your largeport injectors and ECU should work just fine. Your largeport cams, BTW, originally had a smidgen more lift and duration than the smallport cams, so you may want to switch those over. When you get into an aftermarket ECU you might do well to find more modern injectors, which are new or rem...

I've tried searching for a few days about details about a smallport swap but I couldn't really find a definite answer. I'll be using my largeport electronics, tvis intake w/t3 adapter, 7 rib largeport bottom end with rwd parts. I do know that i need to cap off the oil return line on the head, but wh...

Looking to buy Smallport/redtop
So my rebuilt engine developed some bad rod knock with only 3500 miles. I want to purchase a good smallport block(preferably with oil squiters) with good STOCK internals. I would love to just slap my largeport head on it and get my car running again.

If i were you just get new valve springs, Hks and Toda units are still available and worth the peace of mind of not worrying about your valve springs with your new cams.

Re: What do you love about the 86?
Even a simple drive home just feels so damn good. It's a car that you can actually daily, drive hard, take your girl out to dinner in, relax in, spend all your money on, get so mad at to the point you wanna roll it off a cliff. The size of the car just feels right to me. It's so simple to work on. S...

Re: AE86 vin info and questions
What about the vin number on the door and on the front mirror on the bottom right corner(if you are looking right at the car from the front)
If the vin starts with Jt2Ae86 this is a Sr5, but if it starts with Jt2Ae88 that is a Gts. But yes I would ask the police and Dmv just to be safe.
