Re: Strange oil leak from where? Pic inside

Looks almost like blow by getting past the seal on the EGR bolt, spraying the side of the head. Really unique area given the exhaust heat shield and where everything is. Simple to check the other side of the heat shield to see if there's burnt oil residue. How long did it take to show up? (Worth de...

Strange oil leak from where? Pic inside

I'm guessing it's oil as it has an oily feel but I can't determine where it's coming from....it is above the head gasket but the leak is not originating from the valve cover gasket either as there is no trail..it just seems to saturate the metal and some on the exhaust manifold. Now if it's on the e...

So sick dude!! You're almost there!! Side note, can you clarify a bit on the drive belt problem? Was it too short even with the alternator as short as it will go? Hey yeah, sorry I haven't had time to update/fix the photos but I will soon. As far as A/C goes, I am not running it at all. Probably easiest way would be to run the original 86 compressor and fabricate a mounting bracket if needed. If you'd want run the Beams compressor I'd imagine you'd have to d...

Pretty sure that the grren wire will be a dash light/park light feed, used to light up the radio at nogth so you can see the buttons on the factory radio. Not many aftermarket radio's use this wire. Easy to check, turn on the lights and see if you get power on that wire. Oh I see....thanks for the ...
