I am looking for the clip that goes into the back of my 1985 gts hatchback 1.6 alternator. I understand it's part of the entire wire harness. So I am willing to buy a damage harness if it has the clip needed.

I agree , it may also depend where you are buying. I have a 1985 gts hatchback and was offer 3g with out the engine here in CT. I have put it together since with all the original parts that were put away. And was offer 10gs. Never been crash , painted or tamper with all matching numbers.
