If this forum ever went away, the loss of knowledge would be deviating for people like me. This is why I have my add-block disabled whenever I'm on here so that I can support the site with ad revenue.

Re: Help finding part, Don't know what to search for

Very much appreciated on the part numbers. My biggest concern is the tire throwing rain water onto the metal, it rains fairly often and heavy here in FL, and I want to try and keep rust from forming as much as possible.

Help finding part, Don't know what to search for

I am in dire need of replacing the plastic cover in the front wheel wells of my 86 SR5 Coupe, however, I'm not sure what to search for to find replacements. Right now, the plastic is severely damaged and warped, and it rubs against the tire anytime I turn left. Can anyone give my any info about repl...

haha, topped out at 98mph, 4AC in high winds just didn't cut it, which is why i got a 20v BT sitting in my garage, waiting on me to buy the rest of the parts I need for the swap. Ride was smooth though, just put in a new rack and pinion and new tie rods.

Re: Talking about Air Filters...

So a little off topic, and a little on topic. I want to put something like what is pictured below on my 20v BT. but I can't seem to find anywhere that sells this type of setup. I am posting this here because I feel it would be a waist to create a whole other thread for this. https://scontent-iad3-1....

Didn't do it today, It was a few weeks ago while I was back home on leave. Replaced the busted P/S rack with a re-manufactured one, inner and outer tie rods, tape measure front alignment (totally nailed it, drives perfectly straight), finally fixed the shotty wiring job the previous owner did for th...

Re: I'm new to the ae86 world. help me please

If you are interested in building one on the side, I got a 7rib bigport collecting dust. no header, intake, or fuel. I would recommend new pistons and a bore on it. Like I said, if you want it, make me an offer for it, shipping would probably be around $250. Good luck with you 86, and don't forget t...

So I'm looking at putting better headlights in my 86 corolla. Right now I just have a set of Sylvania Basic's, but these do not have very good visibility. What are you guys using? what would you recommend?

EDIT: I forgot to mention that i have the popup headlights.

A little help with supsension

So to make a long story short. I bought a 1986 SR5, previous owners cut coils, dropped car about 3", I don't like the way it rides. I am working on doing some restoration work, and it is going to be a daily driver. I have been doing some research on suspension and think I know what I am looking...

Were you able to find wiring harnesses somewhere? I too am doing a GTS SR5 swap, and am looking for wiring harnesses.
