Thanks! This is indeed the same.
Are you going to install it yourself or have the shop do it?
The frame around the sunroof on mine is faded and I think the seals are going bad. Debating on whether to rip it off myself or have a shop do it.

Just read everything and very informative about these laws. And I had a glimmer of hope thinking i could register my car in Arizona (smog laws are more lenient) but I guess every politician has thought of ways people try to get smart and bypass the law. Question, if i do register out of state, do i ...

Front Window (L/R) Trim/Molding - JDM requires trimming?
I'm debating whether to take my front window trim to a shop and get it reconditioned or purchase new. USDM ones (LEFT AND RIGHT) are discontinued but you can get JDM ones. But question, why do JDM ones require trimming?

Car Cover - BMW OEM E46 - will it fit?
The bmw oem car covers are made of NOAH material and it seems like they are great quality. A lot are for sale around my area and I was wondering if anybody here knows if a e46 cover may fit the 86?
My hunch is yes seeing how the 86 is smaller than the E46

Re: I am entirely new to imports need advice.
How about an frs drivetrain swap has that been done yet? The frame rails on the AE86 are a few inches to narrow for the FR-S/BRZ motor. You could make it work if you wanted to tube the front of the car, but I would only consider that for a car with light frame damage up front. What's not perfect ab...

Re: I am entirely new to imports need advice.
Also how much does an f20 swap run? That sounds like a filthy idea. Depends a -lot- on who you know and what you can have done. The price of the engine and "most" of what you need varies relatively wildly- but BALLPARK? Expect to pay in the 3500ish range for the engine/harness/ecu/trans- ...
