Re: What happened here
Petrol is petrol. (Until you start adding ethanol... >_>) ^_^ Car looks really well planted - there doesn't look like it has much left to give considering how compressed the front is. I really do like a bit of body roll to help define tire grip limits. That's definitely a smooth progressive input to...

Occured to me. I had a similar rpm related stumble that I eventually traced back to a bad connection inside an NGK plug wire. (Someone... ) Pulled too hard on a wire, not the boot. (Would only show up under a load test, continuity and resistance were normal) Recrimping plug wires withou...

Re: What happened here
The deer farms that I have seen usually have a decent size field with a bit of bush included to provide shelter for the deer. They get rotated around the farm like any other grazing animal and seem to be treated in much the same way. They are a bit skittish but over time they get used to normal far...

Deer became loose breakfast sausage. (Vs patties or cased sausage) Easier to freeze a couple pounds in a vacuum sealed bag. Saved all the ribs and legs/shanks/kidneys for my 15lb dog. We fight over the heart and liver. Generally I save steaks and grind the rest for tacos. We fill in the missing fat ...

Re: 4A-C bogging
Potentially - adjust your plugs, wires, and rotor. (With fresh parts) I'd start easy and pull the plugs. Keep them in order so you can translate any damage or odd run conditions to that particular cylinder. Check and adjust gaps, clean and reinstall. (Or replace) Wires - can check resistance and mak...

Quasi related, have things set aside for a full T56 Magnum setup for the supra assuming I ever get it back. Not this year, but maybe by this time next year. Still leaning towards a Haltech 2500T, some 2200cc injectors, and a "slightly" larger fuel pump. On permanent hold as the missu...

I'd hold out hope, but it seems pre-existing conditions are about to be a free pass for insurers to just say no, and health insurance is about to skyrocket. Plus side, got a small deer. So there's ~40lbs of "breakfast sausage" in the freezer. (Breakfast sausage here is usually 65/35 - 75/2...

Re: What happened here
With a few fiberglass molds and a cnc bent cage/chassis kit it might be doable.
I'm worried the car would be hideous with a modern approved roll cage though.
Small tires and a restrictor plate have long been the way to keep things under control.

Re: OEM Upgrade Horn for AE86?
Not a bad idea. Could probably pull up part photos on rockauto/toyota parts dealers and compare the connectors. Or take your current horn to a junkyard to mix and match. Worst case just solder/heat shrink the new connector onto your harness. I'd expect something like a tundra would have a substantia...

Jensen interceptor, I think. Should be pretty close to what you want. ^_^ Built TH400 would tolerate any sane sub 4 digit power output and love a manual valve body. The whole thing sounds rigged to the point of pre-failure, but I'd guess injectors. Works in progress always suffer when waiting.
