Re: Flywheel bolts... the lowdown...
Flywheelbolts can be reuesd with no actual risk of a failure. Doing this fotlr years without a problem. I Recently reused the flywheelbolts in my NA B16 daily Civic and this motor sees alot of abuse with 8000+ RPM and the 24year old bolts dosen't care at all

Re: TVIS & Bigger Cams
Why ditching the catcams? As Dan said the cams provide similar or even better perfirmance than the HKS ones. Try to play with the timing some more.

I have the BC street/trackday (8f/6r) coilover installed on my hachi. They offer good controll and adjustment fot the price. Good for a daily car that gets tracked every now and then.

Re: 15x8 tire size for track purposes
205 on a 8" wheel will give you minimal stretch. I've run 195s on mine and the stretch wasn't that bad but for track purpose i would go 205s. Everything wider isn't an option if you don't have 170hp+ at the wheels...

Re: Engine Bearings out of Spec
According to the Toyota repair manual mainbearings are torqued to 40-47ft pounds
Maximum mainbearing clearance is 0. 10mm.
Standart should be 0.025-0.060mm

Re: New to club4ag and the ae86 community!
Well a 20v swap done the right way costs more than modding a stock 16v to achive the same amount of hp of a stock 20v. Here in europe a 20v costs more than double the price of a 16v engine. In the US 20v swaps are more common but I still don't understand the benifits of them. The gains are just too ...

Welcome [emoji1]
Why are you planning to go the 20v route? 200hp can be achived out of a bigport 16v aswell...
But in the end its your choice. Good choice not stick tons of bondo on the shell [emoji5]

+1 on this solution
A decent LHD header for a build 16V engine would be nice.
