Catch can eh. Anyone have any pics/material list of their set up?

I successfully deleted the EGR on my 22RE, can this also be done on the 4AGE?
Is there a write up somewhere on what to block off and such, anyone else do this with success?

Took the intake tube off the TB and Holy Smokes what a mess! I understand the 4AGE does not have a PCV valve (or mine doesn't), but there is a hose that goes from the valve cover (closest to firewall/intake) to the intake manifold. What causes soooo much gunk to deposit in the intake? Is it lack of ...

Dang, It was in great shape and didn't leak oil into it like my current one does.
I know they can be rebuilt, but mine has been leaking for sooooo long that everything inside is messed up really bad.

Found an 89 Corolla GT-S at the wrecker the other day and it has the 4AGE TVIS engine in it.
My corolla is a 1990 GT-S non TVIS 4AGE .
What I would like to know is if I can use the distributor from the TVIS engine in the non TVIS engine?

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure what the advantage to putting the starter on the intake side (other than heat) is, but that seems like too much work for me at this time.
I can assure you though, the failure of this starter has nothing to do with heat.

Hello All, I have a 1990 Corolla GT-S with the 4AGE 16V engine in it. My starter decided to crap the bed and I am just wondering which other toyota family of engines I could use a starter out of? Or am I stuck with using one from this engine only? Sorry if this question has been asked a million time...
