Well, got new plugs, wires, etc. Put a fpr on there and went to fire it up....nothing. It cranks and tries to hit, but nothing. It will backfire and smoke out of the carbs now which I'm assuming is an ignition timing issue. Going to get a new timing belt tomorrow and set timing and set the ignition ...

Mine fits without modification. I mean, its a case of you get what you pay for. I don't have any cracks yet, however I haven't put to many mileage on it either. If you can spring the cash for a better header, I would.

A real tomei fpr has a serial number on it and the box it comes in is usually white on the interior. Just trying to make sure before I drop cash lol.

Mine isnt too bad..as in I didn't need to bash anything I yo.make it fit. But the welds on it look like a 2year old made it. I'll be making my own next.

Allencr: Sorry about that, I should have put a little more thought into that rather than going right off of hear/say. I'm assuming a rich conditon would more likely cause the throttle to stick. I pulled my header today to put in a new starter and the #4 cylinder smells of straight unburned gas. The ...
