Someone needs to sell roller mounts like an office chair for these. They would be great around the shop.

Are there any plans to build a shifter setup for the RX8 transmission for those of us that wouldn't want to cut our tunnel or console?

Glad you found the issue. In a previous post you mentioned the sound of a test pipe. This guy makes a test pipe using a louvered resonator. When I installed it, I could honestly not tell a difference in sound. http://www.sv3power.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=66&products_i...

Re: Are you really low guys all using over-axle exhausts?

I went from under-axle to over-axle. My tires are flush with the fender and the under-axle was the lowest point. It would scrape backing out of driveways and at other transitions.

Re: Headers for a daily driver AE86?

I think you'll be ok with a lower quality header considering the EGTs on our cars won't be as high as boosted applications. I've run cheap headers on Honda's for years without the stainless cracking. I cannot same the same about turbo subaru's :(

Re: Headers for a daily driver AE86?

I'm running a KMS header which is setup for higher rpm exhaust velocity and it doesn't negatively impact the street driving. What is your budget, as the quality material headers are pricey and don't offer a whole lot of gains?

If you want a moddable car, restore this one a bit, all stock. Sell it, then purchase one that isn't stock. You should come out ahead if this one is in great shape and in stock form.

Replaced the starter and got a nice rash on both forearms from the previous owners heatwrap.
