Re: What did you do to your car today?
Still in tear down mode for my 20v swap. Worked on pulling the rest of the heater box and everything under the dash (I'm going to be running just a half dash with no heat/ac). Also pulled the old 4ac broken cruise control and power steering lines. Still trying to decide if i'm going to b uy a manual...

I bought just the header, wish I would have bought it with the downpipe. It's alright, not very good flow off of the flange, welds look okay, but can't expect much from a cheap header. It'll do the job for now, that's about all I can say about it. It'll work as a starter

Can you explain how you changed the pcv valve location to work with a an-fitting? I'm looking to do the same for an oil catch can, just didn't know if it takes a lot of modification or not.

The external pumps like to push the fuel over pulling it, the closer to the tank the better

Stripped oil pump bolt help!!
Alright guys, so I have been freshening up my blacktop 20v to drop into my hatch. I did the 16v oil pump/timing tensioner conversion and as I was finishing up bolting/torquing everything back together, one of the bolts on the oil pump pickup tube stripped out. It wasn't overtightend or torqued and j...

20v swap guys I need your input!!
Ok for all you guys running 20v swaps, what clutch/flywheel setups are you running and how do you like them? I'm going to be doing some drifting/spirited driving with mine and am trying to figure out the best setup for me.
Thanks,
Alec
Thanks,
Alec

Re: WTB FWD C56 LSD tranny
Just in case somebody here on the forum picked up a 20valve JDM shipped motor for a swap into their 86, I'm looking to buy their tranny. I have an AW11 MR2 which I recently just did a GZE swap into and need a stronger tranny with LSD to handle the power and also for some skid action. I'm currently ...

Re: 20v water line route
awesome thank you. also another kind of side question. I got a new 20v pump from torparts, but it seems to be different from my original. the original had just a coupler setup that the radiator hose would slip onto and then get clamped down. the new one has two studs on the rear instead, has anyone ...

Re: DIY: Poor man's door panels (made from scratch)
Awesome write up. After seeing people charge almost a grand for panels, I was thinking of doing my own aluminum panels, but was worried about the bend at the top for the sill. I did not know you could separate the top and bottom. I think I will make an aluminum lower section on mine. I will probabl...

This build is ridiculously cool man, my only question is why not put a rear bumper on it? I think it would complete the car perfectly, personally, but to each their own.

20v water line route
Hey guys i've looked around a lot, and have seen many different options on how to route the water lines in a 20v swap and just want to see if my setup specifically will work. I have the sam-q kit w/o the heater option and then a stock 20v water pump. Will i be able to run a hose from the sam-q kit t...
