3tc engine parts (cleaned)

I'm selling my parts for a 3tc. They were all cleaned and being prepped for a project car but, we have decided to go a different route. I'm probably missing some but, here's the list of parts. Here's the link to my CL ad. http://raleigh.craigslist.org/pts/4454212991.html The prices listed are for lo...

Re: 8.8 conversion info

Which smaller diffs are you referring to? I'm looking at early 80s Toyota truck rear ends. They are stout just not as common. I definitely think the 8.8 is overkill but, its better to have too much than not enough. As for lighter, with the amount being narrowed and the excess brackets being removed....

Re: 8.8 conversion info

Narrowing is a must. I'd also fill and drill for the AE stud pattern and put 9" end on it. I'm building a jig out of steel and using new brackets made out of 3/16 steel. My next brackets will more than likely be 1/8", factory looks to be 3/32nd. I'm also not going to be putting time into t...

Re: 8.8 conversion info

Well, this certainly got more attention in the old forum, hah. Bump for more info I'm curious to know about the axles. The swaps I have read about narrow one side and use a passenger side axle. Has anyone used a Mustang 8.8? The axles are equal length. I'm using Mustang 8.8s and 9" housing ends...

Re: AE86 exhaust options

Well, I was only able to put the back half on. My header guy failed, so, I had to do this get rid of my crap exhaust being held on by some coat hangers. I made this to adapt my new to my old http://i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy321/992dr/Hachiexhaust1_zps0146e2b4.jpg http://i804.photobucket.com/albu...

I made this http://i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy321/992dr/Hachiexhaust1_zps0146e2b4.jpg as a temporary fix to put this on. I was only able to put the tail section of this exhaust on due to receiving a crap header from a pretty well known guy. I am in the process of re-building it because of the ter...

Thank you for the clarification. I thought a tow bar was something you use to hook up a car to if you were to tow it without a dolly or trailer. Huh, it is something I could do but am not sure I want to start mounting any more weight to my Hachi. I completely agree, these cars are certainly not tow ...
