Okay so I have this weird howling/rubbing noise coming from my front suspension, but it only happens when I turn left, I have no clue what it could be, when I have the car in the air with the wheels off it doesn't make noise probably because there's no weight. I don't even know where to begin diagno...

So I just converted my 1981 te72 to a 5 speed can someone explain the wiring to me for the neutral safety switch and such please. I can push start the car and everything works as it should I just can't seem to figure out how to get it to start with the key.

Hmmm idk what's goin on then. The tranny is lined up to the splines and everything there's just a huge gap between where the bellhousing ends and where the block begins and the bolts are too short to start threading

So I have an 81 te72 I got a full 5 speed assembly out of an 82 te72 wagon. I was wondering are the bell housings different between the 81 and 82? the transmission doesn't seem to want to line up against the block and it's really frustrating me. Are they different or am I doing something wrong?
