Re: Paint interior parts and door panels

First link for repair kit looks very similar to the one that I used. Sorry but, my project was over 10 years ago. Second link for the interior paint is exactly the same one that I posted in my initial post. Very great product that I even paint my dash long time ago. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4...

T5 Confirmed...just pull out from that tiny socket. Nothing difficult.
I would consider replacing them to LED as well. Good luck.

Re: Paint interior parts and door panels

I think he did really well on his project but, I think entire process was much easier if he remove the dash OUT from the car. As you may know, there is a product called dash cap that is available for AE86. I had this on my Corolla, too that if you are going to do this, I highly recommend that you re...

I use the same paint to do my interior plastics. What adhesive do you use to make the paint stick better? The paint scratches off easily without it. My old project http://www.club4ag.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=16462 1) Clean the panel / plastic parts 2) Prep the panel (mask / apply adhesive promotor for extra sticky) 3) Paint with interior paint (ALWAYS paint the lighter color first -> then, darker color) For plastic parts, I used dupli...

I owned both GTU and FD3S in SoCal as well that I must say your GTU is one of the best build GTU. Since everyone is probably lazy (?) to visit your link, I am going to post a picture what it looks like... Just apply fresh coat of white paint and she is ready. Good luck with your sale. :P https://far...

Re: Need a price reference

If I own AE86 today, replacing engine to 13B is definitely NOT an option. I would like to keep it ORIGINAL as possible that would be same engine type: 4A-G. AE86 = 1.6 piston engine is my opinion as well. But, if someone has 13B powered AE86, I would love to sit behind the wheel for a test drive.......

My old car. 15x8 offset 0 with 195/50R15 all around.
As you can see, car is lowered but all my fenders were NOT rolled.
