I've bought a new project hatch and need a few Items:
Things I absolutely need:
Stock airbox
Charcoal canister
Items I would like to have:
either a TRD header or a stock exhaust manifold (I can get the TRD header exempted by the CA Referee)
Full blue or Full black interior, pretty much every panel after the dash. Which basically means all of this stuff for both driver and passenger:
kick panels
scuff plates
carpet front and rear (have trunk already),
door cards
GTS rear seat side panels
all (5?) trunk panels/speaker covers
Oh and the freaking rod that goes on the driver side door exterior lock. I have no idea how the previous owner lost that thing. It might just be easier to get two doors honestly
I live in SF and would be happy to pay shipping for a lot of these items.

If you don't mind, how are you getting the TRD header exempted and which state ref are you going to? I know the ref can one time exempt stuff, for example if you are getting a swap BAR'd. But every time after that, a smog station in the know would ding you for it.

It's because there is no replacement exhaust manifold available. They no longer make the stock cast iron exhaust manifold, they never made a CARB legal one, so you can file for an exemption. I'm taking mine to Skyline College in Daly City once i get all this stuff together.

Thanks for the response man. I used to have my smog license and I completely forgot about parts exemption, but looking at the BAR website,
https://www.bar.ca.gov/FormsPubs/Fact_S ... cator.html
"However, if part(s) are not available, the motorist must call and advise the Parts Locator. After verification that the parts are not available, the Parts Locator then issues a "Limited Parts Exemption" which is mailed to the motorist. The motorist must then make an appointment at one of BAR's 36 Consumer Assistance and Referee Centers, where the vehicle will undergo a Smog Check inspection. The vehicle must pass all other aspects the inspection before the Referee can issue a Smog Check certificate. Poor of emissions levels, improperly functioning parts, or missing parts may be taken into consideration during the Smog Check inspection.
If the parts are not available at the time of the vehicle's next Smog Check, the motorist must again obtain a "Limited Parts Exemption," and the vehicle will again need to be inspected at a Referee Center. When required parts become available, they must be installed."
It looks like then every two years you would have to reapply for Limited Parts Exemption, which I really hope is not the case. Let us know how it goes!

JFC, I will never live in California.
You're telling me that if it's an antique you still have to make it carb legal?
Worst car friendly state haha. Even Oregon, the land of hippies, doesn't care that much.
Good luck dude, I have a full EGR system if you need it. I think I have charcoal cannister as well.
