Just cant do it anymore!! RSR exhaust replacement

Postby v33sonata » Sun Apr 02, 2017 10:16 am

I'm too old for this **** LOL the RSR exhaust is too loud and I need something more quiet and sounds deeper. I have a 20v with headers no cat and a RSR cat back. I want to hack off the muffler and find a replacement. Can you guys suggest anything? I was thinking the Flowmaster DBX any feedback or any suggestions or clips of deeper exhaust set ups for me?

Thanks.

I love my exhaust but it was on their when I bought it. Not sure where to buy it. OBX header, no cat, Jasma catback. Engine is a 20V but it sounded good with the 16V too. Not too loud, I'm 33. I'm getting old too lol

I'm 57....... I've invested in a few exhausts and I've found.......

Fujitsubo Legalis R - either long muffler version - is the best sound at the best sound level. These are 2"(52mm) mandrel bent systems

If you want a bit more capability 2 1/4" (60mm) then run a Brave. The Brave is cheaper, but you need to get it from an importer, like EP Importers.

I have an RS-R exmag gt2 with 60mm straight pipe and its loud af. I toyed around with putting in a Vibrant brand resonator in.
Ended up going stock header, cat, rs-r catback with factory timing and she is very manageable noise wise.
Due to relocating to a smog state. Lol

In the middle of all that i picked up a super cheap 7th hand, hks sport. Since she runs rather quiet now, exhaust just kicks it in the shed.
