Ae86 - Diff ratio

Postby hachirokkos » Fri Jan 08, 2016 1:23 pm

The part # of the pinion and the crown ring of the ae86 is "41201-29207"
Does anyone knows if the ratios starting with 41201 part no. ( rav4 , hiace , landcruizer etc.) are interchangeable with my stock. ?

Thanks for the link.
As i can see from there as well, all the part numbers start with 41201. But the there are some other ratios that start with the same no. But are not listed there, like 4.9 or so

If you sift through the T-Series part numbers in this list...

... you might find what you are looking for :)

All Toyota ring gears of the same size or letter code are interchangeable as long
as the matching pinion gear is swapped at the same time

So if it says that the vehicle was fitted with a T-Series differential, the CW&P
should be interchangeable with any other T-Series differential.
