Need tire size help...

Hello everyone. I have a set of TE37V bronze wheels for my AE86 (stock body, no fender flares). I was curious on what tires I should run on 15x8.0, 0 offset.

I keep seeing either run 195/50/15 or 205/50/15...or some combo of that for front and rears. Are there pros/cons for this?

My use is going to be just daily driving or weekend driving. I will be doing no track / autoX / drifting.

What is the best option here that will ensure that things look / function well and wont have any rubbing in the car. Would also love recommendation on brand of tire. Right now I am looking at Yokohama Advan Fleva's, Toyo Proxes R1R, Falken Ziex ZE960, and Continental ContiproContact.

Thank you in advance!

I hade 15x8.0 +0 years back, with 195/50R15s. It rubbed slightly up front, the front bumper corner wears out quickly where it bolts to the fender. 205s will be way too wide. The rear arch lip is folded up and it touched the tire occasionally.

Whatever you do, I would run a square setup on a daily. Otherwise it limits your tire rotation. I can’t specify on your exact setup. How lowered is your car?

I use Kuhmo Ecsta's 205/50/15 in the rear and 195/50/15 in the front. The tire rubbing depends on your ride height and suspension setup. Also you might find that in the rear the 205/50/15 does rub when driving off curbs. Mine does anyways, even with coilovers and rear adjustable lateral rod. Your differential will shift to the right when driving off curbs and the 205/50/15 will rub on your right rear fender. Lol my car always gets stuck off curbs sometimes if I go too slow.
