Steering Rack U-joints AW11 vs AE86

I have a MR2 steering rack with MR2 u-joint in Ae86 , I was wondering if the Manuel ae86 U-joint are the same as MR2 aw11.
My u-joint is worn and has play. 10years since I had it.


OEM AW11 U-joints are discontinued.

OEM AE86 Manuel U-Joints are Not. $$$

Ae86 P/S are different - definitely won’t work. Lol


Any have a Manuel U-joint on a Aw11 steering rack??

I'm using a U-joint from a 1991 Camry, which is slightly longer than the stock AE86 joint, but there is enough spline on the steering column to fit it . I'm also using a stainless steel U-joint from Flaming River, that is about a 1/3 of the cost of a Toyota joint.
