Rear seat latch and striker.

Postby notnilc20 » Thu Dec 14, 2017 8:11 pm

Was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is a difference in the rear seat latch and striker (to release the backs in order to fold down) for a coupe and hatch? There is a set on ebay from a coupe but I have a hatch. I have the latch mechanism that is inside the rear seat backs....but I don't have the striker that bolts to the car. Are the strikers the same? Thanks in advance.

Do you have a link for the Ebay listing? I can compare to my strikers on my GT-S hatch. They have factory hatch seats.

So it looks like everything matches up. The strikers are the same, and the lower seat brackets look the same as well.

The only oddity is I have no idea what those two latch brackets are to the left and right of the center seat bracket on top.

The only thing I can think of is that those two are the unlatch/latch buckles that take the place of our hatchback "pull-up" knob style?

I don't know what those are otherwise lol.

It looks good visually.

Ok thx a lot for checking Cloudstrife, yeah, those latch things got me puzzled as well. Maybe a coupe owner can chime in?

they clip the back seat in from the trunk.
I think my seats have the pin on top as well though. Now I'm going to go look on my break. LOL
