Steering rack woes

I'm looking for confirmation on inner tie rod ends for an early power steering rack, as I understand it there are different part numbers side to side for the early racks. I have a selection of tie rod ends and interestingly one of the ends is slightly shorter in the body where the ball goes and I wondered if this is the end with the different part number ?
No part numbers are visible on any of my tie rod ends.

This thread:
There are 3 different types of AE86 inner tie rods from Toyota.

1. Manual steering ends, which are the same as the Zenki RH PS end.
2. Zenki LH PS inner tie rod end.
3. Kouki PS inner tie rod ends.

45503-19015 - Zenki & Kouki Manual steering inner tie rods (2)
45503-19015 - Zenki power steering RH inner tie rod
45503-19045 - Zenki power steering LH inner tie rod
45503-19025 - Kouki power steering inner tie rods (2)

You sir, are correct.

Early models with PS used the 45503-19015 + 45503-19045
Manual steering inner rods were the 45503-19015 (x2)
Later PS models used 45503-19025 (x2)

Take note of the dates in which each part was made. You can see where the 45503-19015 and 45503-19045 were both produced from 83-85, and the 19025 was from 85-87. I logged onto the little database we use at my work on my personal computer and took a screenshot

Unfortunately there's no information on which one is which. all we got are crappy drawing and part numbers.

Although, I don't really know if they matter anymore. I recently replaced my inner/outer tie rods via RockAuto, and when taking all three of those part numbers, they all directed me to the same tie rods on their website. I ordered them and had them installed at a reputable shop near me and everything checked out. Unless my previous owner swapped PS racks, I have an 84 levin so a Zenki PS rack.

Well thank you both for the confirmation and a fast accurate post.
I have a manual steering rack and I will measure the rack length and compare it to the Zenki P/S rack. Assumming that the crossmember LCA bolt holes are the same on P/S and manual, a difference in rack bar length may have been adjusted at the factory with the inner tie rod ball centres.

I used an '83 Trueno GT Apex chassis number and my '87 Trueno GT Apex chassis number for comparison on the Toyota EPC.
45503-19015 is 83-87 manual racks and 83-85 P/S racks, both are quantity 2 so no left or right.
45503-19025 is 85-87 P/S racks also quantity 2.

Then for the outers it seems that normal manual and P/S are common throughout the years and GT-Vs have different outers due to their narrower rack I assume.

I wonder if the USDM models were the only ones who used the 45503-19045.

So I tried the shorter tie rod on one end of the rack and it does not appear to allow enough articulation at full droop, the problem is with the ball and socket rather than the actual length.
Aside from being difficult to fit the outer tie rod to the steering arm the steering binds at full extension when it is fitted.

You aren't running RCAs with full length dampers by any chance?

Good call but no. Only the side with the shorter rod end is a problem. As soon as I get time I will measure the rack lengths.
