Where can you buy hatch glass? I cant find any sites that have any... If there's none about how much do they go for on the used market?

If you live in cali its not to bad to find especially the rear hatch glass, but more than likely you will need to buy the whole hatch door haha, now for the rear side glass those are a pain to find, yea try craigslist if non make a wanted post, many 86 owners go lightweight and use lexan so stock glass should come up if it doesnt get junked : )

I'm moving over to lexan glass in the coming weeks & will be selling my stock hatch & side glass.. All in really nice condition.

If he doesn't want to ship it, I'm located in SF and need a hatch panel for my car. Mine is all rusted out near the lock area.

I would actually prefer to sell the entire thing as an assembly.

Nobody will ship to me, so i have a new question, where do you get lexan rear glass?

I swear I posted here. A Chinese company makes windshields for the 86 (FYG?), so I'm sure hatch glass is not hard to find. It's a pretty generic shape. Have you actually talked to body shops?

And I second the motion that you should be able to find a parts SR5 hatch in no time in Cali.

Also, there are plenty of custom glass shops in Orange County that could do it pretty easily. You just wouldn't have the rear defroster anymore.

Cusco makes one for the hatch. Generally though it's not ideal since it's such a huge piece compared to the smaller coupe version. So chances of it getting lose from the rubber gasket and/or 'sagging inward' is def much greater. Not sure where you're located but as someone mentioned I went to a pick your part and literally removed the glass from the hatch and just bought that and brought home. If shipping then yes ship the whole hatch with glass to be safe.
