Wheel Size

Postby Tanuki » Mon Apr 24, 2017 8:47 am

I have a 1987 corolla with Wilwood BBK.

I can't seem to find anyone in the area to let me test fit wheels, so I am curious if anyone else has this brake kit and can recommend wheel sizes/ offsets that will clear and not require over fenders or any major modification to the car's body?

I am looking at Volk TE37's in 15x7 with a 0 offset, but I am open to other things. I know I need 17's to clear the brakes, but I guess the real question is "How wide can I take a wheel/ offset before having issues with clearance?"

Thanks for your help!

I don't know what the max size you can get away with but I'd assume it depends on how much you lower your vehicle as well. I am running 15x8 with 0 offset and just needed some 1/4 inch wheel spacers to avoid some rubbing. Also, T3 states that with the Wilwood BBK will clear 15's.
