Hey all,

Anyone know if I can use my AW11 MR2 Tranny / Block Plate for my GTS swap? I believe the MR2 plate is cutoff about 3/4 the way down compared to the AE86 GTS plate... but I don't know for sure.

I'm going to venture a guess that I *could* use it, but that I should custom-fab the remaining portion to prevent things from getting into my bellhousing?

Any suggestions are appreciated. I don't see these plates for sale much, and they're certainly not addressed in FWD / RWD 4AGE engine conversion logs I've seen. If I can McGuyver something that'll do the job, I'd prefer to go that route rather than trying to source one.

I tried doing something similar with a 4agze plate. I believe the starter holes didn't match up or was on the opposite side. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to make it work with a little modification if it even needs it. Worst case scenario you can probably fab one out of sheet metal.
