1uz into Ae86
1uz into Ae86
Does anybody have any info on how to wire a 1uz into an ae86? Im stuck doing my swap, it turns over but has no fire or anything, any bit of help is appreciated, thanks!!!
Re: 1uz into Ae86
I'm gonna assume that you are using the 1UZ ECU, and that you have all the power
supply, ground and sensor wires connected up correctly. Then, if the engine does not
fire it is most likely the immobilizer. AFAIK all ECUs for vvti 1uz-fe are immobilized,
and you will need to bypass the immobilizer to get it running. I don't know how to
do that, but there is a bunch of information on the interwebz that will help you out
or point you towards someone who can modify your ECU.

Re: 1uz into Ae86
My 1uz in non vvvti and has no immobilizer, I wired it by some instructions found offline but it still doesn't start, I am stuck in a bad spot right now, any help is appreciated.
Re: 1uz into Ae86
Maybe the ecu is like the 16v 4ag ecu. Take the top off so that you can see where the connectors are attached to the board. The 4ag ecu has a label for all the pins there.

Re: 1uz into Ae86
Have you 12V at the injectors, the coils and the ecu when you crank over the engine?
If you do it should start

Re: 1uz into Ae86
Do you for sure have the compression (and the correct cam timing [nothing is mechanically wrong]) and fuel?
