why is there a hole in my MAF?

Postby notnilc20 » Tue Mar 29, 2016 10:11 pm

Picked this MAF up at the salvage yard today however I noticed this hole that goes all the way through. This MAF was taken off a 1986 MR2. What would be the reason for a hole in this position?

Someone has been messing with the mixture screw.

To be more specific, that is the idle mixture valve. :)
