aftermarket fuel level gauge

I'm curious does anyone know how to wire up a gauge to work for the fuel level gauge? My gauge cluster stopped working so long ago and i've come to accept i'll just run aftermarket gauges forever at this point. For dailying i definitely would like my fuel level gauge to work instead of just filling up every few days whenever i assume the tank is getting low. Do you guys know which connector to run the gauge to exactly? I just want to make sure i'm doing it right. I know the connectors in the back where the fuel pump is well two power the fuel pump and i'm assuming the other two have to be for the level sensor but i'm not sure which pin or wire to run the gauge to. Any help would be much appreciated thanks!
