Clutch options for 20V swap

Postby Autonerd » Wed Jan 23, 2013 4:13 pm

Googled it and ran into the locked library that is the old club4ag

I recently bought a 20V swapped car with what feels to be a non-sprung 3-puck clutch. The PO wasn't sure of the model.

Anyways, I'd like to buy a clutch before-hand to minimize downtime. The engagement and pressure plate of the clutch in there are too harsh for my driving habits and bad knees. (and it probably had alot to do with the crush sleeve needing replacement) Is there a streetable clutch that you guys recommend? feel free to share recommendations for other applications while we're at it :)

I was very pleased with the Illegal Garage Clutch with my old GZE.

I currently have an ebay special and I very much dislike it on my current 16v.

Is the IG pedal feel much heavier than stock?

Illegal Garage we use an aftermarket pressure plate which is 20% stronger than stock
