Does anyone know the quality of that one? I don't have experience with toyparts.

How well does that work though, and does hide the cracks in the dash?

I found this the other day searching for dashes, I'm unsure how good it is but it randomly sells out.

Here's my findings regarding those two mentioned dash mat alternatives based on my experience;

-Cloth mat by Torparts: Fuzzy looking, itchy, worst of all it collects dust and dirt fast because its all fuzzy.
Must be taped on dash or it will fly off while driving. If you are allergic to dust and dirt this is not for you.

-Molded dashmat from ebay: Sturdy plastic looking thing that "clips" on your existing dash. It is however recommended to "glue" it on your dash for it to be secure. Makes your dash look bulky, and looks unnatural. Looks good until you leave your 86 under the hot sun warping the $hit out of it.

IMO spend the money and get a new or minty used dash, you'll save yourself any regrets. You're welcome!

the molded dash that i gave the link to, recommends that you glue it in and shave any rises from cracks in the dash...its hard too find a mint dash these days and i like how it came out on mine...$120 and you have a black dash that looks new...IMO it was worth it..

Dash mat from torparts are great! Keep them clean by vacuuming and if your a Tito don't know how to vacuum then u got problems. Molded cap peel off with heat and vents area look horrible!

Overall best ones is new dash from torparts!

Dash pads hold up well but if its a daily that gets beat up by the sun, I would recommend a windshield cover or something like this as it will certainly warp over time. I have had my car parked outside in very hot weather many times, but its not a daily occurrence. No signs of warping.

I do plan on getting a new dash at some point when one pops up to replace it though.

How's the installation process on the dash pads? Is there anything I need to do to my cracked dash or do i just put the dash pad over it?

I believe they were made to be adhered directly over an existing dash. But if the dash is too damaged, or lifting in places, you would have to remove the layer, sand it down, then adhere the pad to the top of the dash. All depends on the existing condition.

just came here to post that this is hilarious

I've never owned a car that required vacuuming the dashboard hahaha

thanks for the links everyone, I'm grabbing a molded cap. Carpet on dashboards is for taxis and moms!
