4ac drift project.
4ac drift project.
Anybody here know.anyone drifting their corolla with 4ac if so what are the.mods i can do to get it to slide .
Re: 4ac drift project.
You need a welded diff, strong clutch, and big brass ones. It's not impossible to do work with a 4AC. You can drop on a Weber carb for more power/noise.

it'd be much much easier to just swap it to slide, drifting a 4ac isn't impossible like carbd7age said, but its about as hard as it gets, imo.
Re: 4ac drift project.
I was thinking.about a weber carb. Schneider 300 cam and dual.springs. And a light flywheel with a stage 2 clutch. And either a welded diff or a weir spool.

Re: 4ac drift project.
You may lose some torque with a lightweight setup over the standard weight flywheel on the 4ac.. If your plans are to drift & keeping the revs up using a strong dedicated clutch kit (along with the mods you mentioned),then fine..a fellow 4ac purist in my town did it on his dd & he kept on dying out at traffic lights and hill stops. He was just getting groceries
