Ae86 roll cage

Postby MarkDaFunkyHomosapien » Wed Jan 16, 2013 8:22 pm

I'm interested in buying a roll cage for my 85 Corolla GTS. Found these online and am wondering what the difference between these two. I see the description but one is 250 and the the other seems to be about a grand. Thanks in advance.

The top link are ready to install bolt in cages with good material. On the bottom link you would want the choice with DOM tubing and that one is 500 and would still need to be welded together

Find a local fabricator and get a cage built to your needs

FWIW, if you are buying a cage I'm assuming that is for track use. Check with the governing authority for the events that you pan to run in, to make sure the cage meets their specs. They're not all the same, and finding out you've got the wrong cage after it is done could ruin the day.
