neutral start switch

Postby Jeonsah » Fri Mar 14, 2014 12:33 am

I am doing an engine swap and one of the ECU pins requires a connection to the neutral start switch. However, in the AE86 there is no wire going to the original ECU. So does anyone know where the neutral start switch wires go from the top of the pedal?

otherwise I was thinking of just grounding or jumping the ECU at that pin. does anyone know if the pin on the ecu should receive 12v or ground?

Thanks guys!

looking at the diagram on the tech page for the AE92, the NSW looks like its the same as the STA signal. you should be able to tap off that.
